Now Hiring: Culinary Coordinator (Part-time)
Clubhouse Tulsa is a community of peer support for adults with a mental health diagnosis. The goal of the Clubhouse is to provide our members with a place where they can receive social support, be treated as equals, and not be defined by their diagnosis. Members volunteer to work side-by-side with staff to run the Clubhouse, participating in all areas of operation. As a staff person, your job will be to facilitate participation in Clubhouse work by motivating members, guiding them through tasks as needed, and serving as a positive example.

The Culinary Coordinator oversees work done in the culinary unit, including meal preparation, meal planning, and kitchen cleaning. You will be working closely with member volunteers to accomplish all tasks. Our members are a diverse group of people with different skills, needs and abilities. This job requires you to have patience, flexibility, and good communication skills.

Job Duties:

Lead culinary team in preparing lunch for 10-20 people each day

Motivate and encourage members to learn new culinary tasks and develop teamwork skills

Facilitate weekly meal planning meeting

Make weekly trips to Food Bank and grocery store to obtain ingredients, staying within budget requirements

Maintain high standard of cleanliness

Basic Qualifications:
-
Current Food Handler’s permit (can be obtained after hiring)

Ability to walk and stand for long periods

Ability to lift 20 pounds
-
Valid Driver's License

Some kitchen experience preferred
